Back in 1985 Jill received her first bow. John and Janice decided that Archery sounded like a great family sport and decided to each get there own Archery equipment so they could shoot as a family.
After shooting for five years at the same place. John and Janice decided that they just were not comfortable to bring a young child in that kind of surrounding! They wanted a place where everyone felt comfortable coming into.
The idea of a family friendly place was born.
Trader Jans Archery Pro-Shop opened in late 1991 to an over whelming response from the Archery community.
